Civics / Government Engagement

Our civics/government engagement program is for homeschoolers in 8th -12th grade.  This program is an exciting hands-on opportunity for students to learn about local and state governance.  Students work together with peers and mentors developing their skills in public speaking, writing, debate, persuasion and logic, then using them during two state events (Youth in Government Conference in November and Mock Trial Competitions in February).  Students finish the year out with a focus on local governance and a service project.
